IC 102 made its first trip on I01 to Memphis on 5/6/99 and returned to Chicago on I04 5/7. 102 was painted with primer and its number was spray painted on the nose. IC 102 has been repainted in CN colors an sports the CN's Maple Leaf herald. Is it now CN 102?

(3) SW13, SW14, SD20, GP8, GP10, GP11, GP40R and SD402R are IC's model designations for the rebuilt locomotives.

(6) Acquired from National Railway Equipment. Externally looks like a GP50.

(7) Ex IC (pre-merger) SD40.

(8) Ex IC (pre-merger) SD40A. IC was the only road to order these extended frame locos.

(9) 6034 was rebuilt from GMO 920 after it was wrecked. It has Dash-2 electrical standards, original SD40 frame. It also has a Paducah-Geep low nose.

(10) 6050-6070 are ex GMO 901-921.

(11) 6071 is ex GMO 950,nee EMD 434, the prototype SD40 built on an SD35 frame.

(12) 6072 is former UP 3844, acquired from National Railway Equipment.CNW 6844 is now UP 3025, not IC 6072 (This information provided by Dan Sorce)

(13) 6100-6160 are ex BN 6708-6772 (except 6714, 6760, 6765 and 6767). 6100-6143 had their dynamic brakes removed, 6144-6160 retained their dynamic brakes, but are deactivated.(Some of these may have active dynamics for use on foreign lines for horsepower hours pay-back)
